What makes the LBA difference? Our coaches! Our coaches have years of youth sports coaching experience, from Adidas Uprising to AAU grassroots to local middle and high school to college.
All of our coaches undergo extensive background checks and safety trainings. They are certified in abuse prevention, concussion prevention, covid-19 prevention, and positive coaching. Our Sigma and Blue team coaches hold Gold Coach Licenses from USA Basketball, the governing organization for basketball in the US. USA Basketball is responsible for the selection and fielding of US National Teams and for the development of youth basketball initiatives including player development, coach education, and safety. Gold Coach Licenses are required for all NCAA basketball events. Many of our coaches are first aid and CPR certified and hold certifications from PGC, NCAA, PCA, and NFHS.
Our coaches also lead several of the local high school programs, including Stone Bridge, Potomac Falls, Loudoun County, Riverside, Park View, Dominion, Woodgrove, and Loudoun Valley.
All of our coaches are committed to creating a positive youth sports environment for the development of the complete player on the court and in life.

| 2025 BLUE | RYAN WILLIAMS | Coach Williams is the JV Head Coach at Dominion High School and has coached Team Attack Blue 2025 for two years. Prior to coaching, he played basketball at MWU. |
| 2026 SIGMA | KENT KLING | Coach Kling is the current Head Coach Boys' Basketball Stone Bridge High School. He is also the Founder of LBA and has over 25 years of coaching experience. He has coached rec teams to AAU grassroots teams to an Adidas Uprising team. He is certified with USA Basketball, NCAA, PCA, and NFHS and continues his coaching education every season. |
| 2026 SIGMA | DREW JOHNSON | Coach Johnson is the current Head JV Coach and Varsity Assistant Coach for SBHS. He played at UMW, where he was awarded the CAC Rookie of the Year, Mid-Athlantic Rookie of the Year, and D-3 Freshman All-American. In his junior year, he was named All-Confernece, Second Team. He holds the UMW record for 3 pointers in a game, with 13. |

| 2026 WHITE | T. CALL | Coach Call has coached basketball for the SRRBBL house league, River Bend Middle School travel team, and LBA Attack. He has been with LBA for four years and has enjoyed success at local, regional, and national level competitions. Coach Call wrestled and played tennis in high school and competed in tennis at the collegiate level. Coach Call emphasizes improving knowledge, skill, and desire to ensure his teams are competitive while enjoying a fun learning environment. |
| 2027 BLUE | BRIAN BLUBAUGH | Coach Blubaugh has been the 2027 Team Attack Blue Head Coach since 2018. Previously he was Varsity Assistant Coach at Potomac Falls for 8 years as well as Head Coach for Loudoun County High school for 4 years. In addition to coaching at LBA, he has coached CLBL for 6 years and is the Head Coach of Smarts Mill Girls Varsity team and Assistant Coach of Smarts Mill boys 6th grade team. |

| 2031 WEST | PAUL BUNDICK | Coach Paul was an NCAA Div 1 athlete at Virginia Tech before making his home in Northern Va 20+ years ago. He has over 20 years of youth basketball coaching experience and is a USA Basketball Gold and NCAA certified coach. Coach Paul is a long time member (10+ years) of the Board of Directors of both the Western Loudoun Basketball League and the Capital Youth Sports Club (formerly Catoctin Basketball Club) supporting the advancement of boys and girls Basketball here in Loudoun County. During his coaching tenure he has over 70 tournament and league championship wins on the boys and girls side of youth basketball within the Mid Atlantic Region. His coaching philosophy is simple: hard work, persistence, repetition, and a positive attitude will produce repeatable, successful results. |

| 2025 SIGMA | MIKE DEMONTE | Coach Demonte has over 30 of experience coaching youth sports. He has coached in several LCPS High School, leading varsity and jv teams. |
| 2026 | SEAN SMITH | Coach Smith has coached the Farmwell Station middle school travel team for several years. He is excited to bring his travel basketball experience to a higher level of competition. |
| 2027 | DARRYL BRANCH | Coach Branch has coached for over 22 years at the high school level both as an assistant and head coach. He has worked with and for some amazing coaches and have learned a great deal from all of them. Coach Branch is currently an assistant coach at South Lakes High for the girls basketball program. Coach Branch is USA Basketball and PCG licensed. |

| 2030 EAST | MIKE LEWIS | Coach Lewis has coached over 35 seasons of youth sports across a variety of ages and sports but his passion has always been for basketball. As a Division 1 college athlete, graduating with honors, he understands what type of attitude, effort and determination it takes to be successful in sports and in life. Mentoring youth to not only become better athletes, but better humans, reflecting confidence, responsibility, and respectfulness is a focus of each team and season. |

| 2033 EAST | AARON MUNDY | Coach Mundy Coach Mundy has vast youth sports coaching experience including Boo Williams, Slam City, St. Theresas and St. Timothys. He played football at UVA and briefly in the NFL and was named Virginia All State in baseball, basketball, and football in high school. |
